  these are words we learnt for our inquiry abaut  kiwiana.

Our collaborative story.

Five years ago when  I was in kindy with my best friends Kymani and Hendrix I told them that we were going to the Auckland Zoo.

The next day we were lining up to go into the bus we were singing songs

Then we arrived at the Zoo.

Our teacher signed us in and we SPRINTED to the animals. We were so excited looking at the lions, giraffes, zebras, rhinos, elephants and monkeys. We were walking past the monkeys I saw a one armed monkey. We were throwing bananas down to the monkey and then we went back into the bus and went back to kindy

I wrote this story with Hendrix.

I found it hard because I couldn't spell the right writing.
